Draw for Change: Teaching package on gender inequality
Draw for Change inspires students to actively stand up against gender inequality.
The free package consists of three steps:
Step 1
Become immersed in the theme and world of the cartoonists.
Watch one of the Draw for Change episodes with your class
or book the VR workshop for free via JEF.
Step 2
Go investigate. What prejudices and stereotypes around gender exist
today, in my own environment? How do I recognize this and counter
it? How can I respond if I witness a cross-border situation? What
are the figures regarding gender (inequality) and violence in
Belgium?
Step 3
Become an artist and draw your own cartoon that addresses gender
inequality.
