LABIOMISTA: Outdoor Exhibition

While you find your way through an open-air exhibition in a 24 hectare park with numerous (living) works of art and installations, universal social topics such as diversity and human rights become tangible and negotiable thanks to the language of art.

Amazement and meeting are central to the three interactive and educational tours through LABIOMISTA; the evolving artwork of Koen Vanmechelen in collaboration with Stad Genk. LABIOMISTA is an ode to the mix of life, a meeting place for all species in this world. Students are challenged to philosophize about the world of today and tomorrow, through the language of art. The tours are accompanied by an educational cross-pollinator, and that in the green Cosmopolitan Culture Park.
