ICT Noord-Limburg: Project site safe internet and teaching materials for non-native speakers

On this website you will find all kinds of information about the safe internet project that the ICT North Limburg working group has developed. You can use this project for free.

One of the ICT final objectives is: Children can use ICT in a safe way. In the past, the education field received a comic from the minister as a didactic method around this final goal: De Sinistere Site van Suske en Wiske .

The initiators of the site scanned the strip, recorded it and made a film of it. This film can be downloaded for free and can serve as a starting point for an educational conversation about safe internet. After that, you can freely choose a whole series of processing options and newspaper articles that revolve around safe internet.

On a second project site you will find exercises for non-native speakers. The 700 most commonly used words were collected on the basis of the word frequency list of the Dutch language. Through this site   these words can be playfully learned and practiced. The word sequences are grouped by theme. A maximum of six words per sequence are offered. All sequences are made in an identical way (of course the words are different). In this way the students will eventually know the principle.
