Smoking, what does it cost?: Didactic package
One pack costs about six euros. Not that expensive actually... But what if you smoked a pack a day for a year? How much money have you lost?
Amaze your students by letting them calculate it themselves. And then have them think about what they could buy for that money. Little input from the classroom? The quartet game gets them started with great examples such as a festival ticket, trip, moped or floatie.
Is the subject very popular? Have the students do an extra creative homework assignment. And get the tongues rolling there too.
