Ceiling girl: Processing book

This document is a processing bundle for the book Ceiling Girl by Fran Bambust . It describes in concrete terms how you can work with this book in class for ten days. The bundle contains writing assignments and craft assignments such as making furniture that you stick to the ceiling, a collage, working with photos, ...

Ceiling Girl is about a girl who falls out of her bed... onto the ceiling. The humorous story is primarily about what it feels like to be different. With diversity as a central theme, links to lessons on difficult topics such as gender and orientation are quickly made. Other lessons include language, media representation and rules and laws (at school and beyond).

Attached are two versions of the lesson bundle. The PDF file is a beautifully designed version. The author of the book herself created the layout in which she incorporated, among other things, the images from the book. The docx file is a basic version of the lesson bundle without the images from the book, which can be edited to your heart's content by everyone.
