Old mobile phones are still all too often lying around the house, without any purpose. It is therefore a good idea to have those mobile phones collected so that they are given a sustainable destination.

GoodPlanet, Proximus and Recupel join forces and thus contribute to the circular economy.

They developed a teaching package and campaign material for primary and secondary education. This teaching package familiarizes the students with the life cycle of a mobile phone by means of accessible and interactive methods, such as a quiz, group discussions, videos, did-you-knows and so on. The teaching package is based on the five core principles of the European waste strategy, namely the 5Rs: recycle, repair, reuse, reduce and rethink.
